Dear participants,

The upcoming publications of the final reports for programs "Electrostatic Charge - Test Round 2015" and "Intrinsic Safety - Test Round 2015" (next week) of the PTB Ex PTS represent the end of program cycle 2015 - 2016. The end of one cycle is the begin of a new cycle (2017-2018). Therefore the collection of topics for the new programs has already started. In accordance to IECEx OD-202 (Chapter 7 "Topics") we ask for your suggestions or ideas for the two new PT programs of cycle 2017-2018. Based on all collected suggestions  ExTAG Working Group 10 (Proficiency Testing Programs) makes recommendations for new PT programs for approval by the ExMC on a recommendation by the EXTAG. If you have already addressed your ideas (e.g. with the questionnaire of the PT Workshops 2016), please don't send the same suggestion a second time.

Please consider some simple rules for suggestions of new PT programs:

• Tests described by standards of the 60079-X series

• ... with reference to the chapter of the standard
