Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you about the upcoming PTB Ex PT Workshops 2024. After two previous virtual events, on-site workshops are now planned again. These will take place from June 17 to June 20, 2024 at PTB. The topics are related to the current programs "Explosion Pressure - Test Round 2023" and "Connection and Junction Boxes - Test Round 2023". As usual, the structure of the workshops consists of a theoretical and a practical part for each program. Two workshop days are planned for each of the programs (17/18 June: Explosion Pressure "EP" & 19/20 June: Connection and Junction Boxes "CJB").

The workshops are an essential element of the Proficiency Testing Scheme operated by PTB and are especially addressed to the laboratory technicians in order to start an experience exchange for further alignment of procedures and technologies, by the opportunity to meet face to face. The workshops will contribute for further harmonization of views and finally for harmonization of test methodology.

We will provide further information and launch online registration at the beginning of 2024.
