Dear colleagues,

We are glad to inform you about the roll-out of our two new programs "Explosion Pressure (EP) & Connection and Junction Boxes (CJB) - Test Round 2023" of the PTB Ex Proficiency Testing Scheme. The roll-out paper is available for download in the respective program section of our PTS Website. Our policy for the scheme is to keep everything as simple as possible, but achieving consistent, reliable and valuable results.

The PT Team would be very happy to welcome IECEx test laboratories (IECEx ExTLs, IECEx Applicant ExTLs, IECEx Additional Testing Facilities (ATFs) and IECEx Applicant ATFs), ATEX Notified Bodies and other Ex laboratories which meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. Each contribution is highly appreciated to collect experience for the programs and for the continuous improvement process of the whole scheme.

Please notice that in accordance with IECEx 02 Rules of Procedure, participation in the Proficiency Testing Scheme is mandatory for all IECEx test laboratories. The interested IECEx test laboratories and other Ex laboratories can register the programs via PTS website by online application under https://www.ex-proficiency-testing.ptb.de/registration-pt-scheme-cycle-2023-2024/.

The interested laboratory completes the electronic application form and submits it online according to the schedule before 2023-04-21.

The coordinator will confirm the receipt of the declaration of participation accordingly. The programs are considered as two separate programs, so it is possible to participate in both programs or only in one of them.

All detailed information, specific descriptions and data for the performance of the new programs 2023/2024 will be uploaded on the website before the test samples are sent out.
