Dear colleagues,

Nearly three months are gone since we issued the individual interim reports for phase I of the program "Flame Transmission - Test Round 2013" for each participant. Currently we are in phase II of the program which means that every participant has the possibility to repeat the tests after improvement of his procedures and instrumentation and to upload the improved results, if he is not happy with his position regarding the difference with the assigned value. In this phase PTB offers individual support for discussion of test results, test setup or data processing of the participant if requested.

Please notice that phase II of program "Flame Transmission - Test Round 2013" will end at:

                                                        30th of May, 2014

Until this date you need to upload your new data set made during phase II. If you do not want to take part in the phase II session, your data of phase I will be used for the final report of program "Flame Transmission - Test Round 2013. The final report will be provided in June 2014, just before the PTB Ex PT Workshops starts.

For program "Temperature Classification - Test Round 2013" we are currently in phase I. Please notice that you have to upload your results also till the end of this month. The interim report will be provided in June 2014, just before the PTB Ex PT Workshops starts.  Please notice that phase I of program "Temperature Classification - Test Round 2013" will end at:

                                                        30th of May, 2014

The workshops are essential element of the Programs "Flame Transmission and Temperature Classification - Test Round 2013" operated by PTB in 2013 and 2014 and are especially addressed to the laboratory technicians in order to start an experience exchange for further alignment of procedures and technologies, by the opportunity to meet face to face. The workshops will contribute for further harmonization of views and finally for harmonization of test methodology.

Please notice that you need to register for the workshops also until:

                                                        30th of May, 2014

All participants are invited to attend the workshops for "FT" and "TC":

Workshop Flame Transmission "FT": Monday, 7th of July, and Tuesday, 8th of July, 2014
Workshop Temperature Classification "TC": Wednesday, 9th of July, and Thursday, 10th of July, 2014.
