Dear participants,

I am pleased to inform you that the interim report of program "Battery Testing - Test Round 2019" is available for download now.
Please note that the interim report is only available for the laboratories which uploaded the test results within the deadline for Phase I.

You will find the report after login on our website (http://www.ex-proficiency-testing.ptb.de) under section:

Programs --> Program "Battery Testing" (Test Round 2019) --> Download

For reasons of confidentiality, the results are presented in anonymous form. The codes for identification are sent to the laboratories in a separate email.

Now Phase II of program " Battery testing - Test Round 2019" starts. The participating laboratories will analyze their results compared with the other laboratories and are invited to repeat the tests after improvement of their procedures and instrumentation, if they are not happy with their position regarding the difference with the assigned value. During this phase the participants are invited to individual and confidential discussion of their results with PTB experts. We recommend laboratories that have warning signals to analyze their processes internally and use Phase II if necessary to improve the results. Laboratories that have received an action signal are strongly recommended to use phase II to improve their results.

Phase II will end at 31st of August, 2020.

Until this date you need to upload your new data set made during Phase II. If you do not want to take part in the Phase II session, your data of the Phase I will be used for the final report of the program "Battery testing - Test Round 2019" which will be published in October 2020.
For those participants who registered later or have not yet uploaded the test results in Phase I, please meet the deadline of Phase II so that your results can be included and analysed in the final report.
